In early 2025, Berthoud initiated a branding assessment to clarify its identity, align growth with community values, and improve regional perception. The effort sought to create a stronger sense of place, guide development, and boost civic pride and business attraction.

Using these results, the Town has hired Locality Studio to assist with the next step in the rebranding process. 
Whether that is a simple refresh to the logo we’ve had for over 20 years, or a complete overhaul, remains to be seen. We will have several opportunities for community input, the first being a community open house. Held upstairs at Town Hall on January 21, 2026, we will be gathering feedback, thoughts, and opinions from as many people as would like to participate. Be on the lookout for other opportunities and updates as we move forward in this process.

Please share your favorite memories and experiences with us. We will use them to help tell our town's story during the rebranding process, and then donate them to the Berthoud Historical Society, where they will become a permanent part of our town's larger story.
