Public Transit

The Town of Berthoud works in partnership with other local jurisdictions to provide public transportation opportunities to the citizens of Berthoud.  Please use the navigation on the left-hand side to find out more information about available public transportation.

The Town of Berthoud operates Berthoud Area Transportation System (BATS) to provide safe, courteous, and reliable service to our riders to help maintain their independence. BATS provides door-to-door service rides within Berthoud and Loveland. BATS receives funding from the Town of Berthoud, Larimer County Office on Aging, and the City of Fort Collins.

The Town of Berthoud works cooperatively with the City of Fort Collins to provide the two TransFort FLEX bus stops in downtown Berthoud. FLEX is a regional partnership funded by local governments, including Fort Collins, Loveland, Berthoud, Longmont, Boulder, and Boulder County. State and federal grants, as well as rider fares, also fund the FLEX program.
