Personal Training

Personal training is an excellent option for those struggling with exercise or needing more of a challenge.  A trainer will help to set fitness goals and develop workout plans with realistic routines. All personal training clients will receive a 30-minute consultation to discuss medical history, physical limitations, exercise preferences, and personal goals before training.  All training sessions are one hour.

Chris bio picture

Chris is a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine.   Chris received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Northeastern IL University focusing on Teaching, Coaching, Communication and Physical Education. Chris has worked in Health and Fitness industry for over 25 years and Personal Trained for almost 20 years.   

Chris is thrilled to be part of the team at the Berthoud Recreation Center and ecstatic to be a part of the Berthoud Community. Chris loves Personal Training and loves the positive affects it has on his clients. Chris feels if he trains with empathy and attention to detail, his clients can get the very most out of their experience.   

Chris believes he can train any type of client, accomplish any type of goal and believes his best attribute is the ability to listen to what his clients feel they want and need in their individual training.   

When Chris is not training, he loves to hit the mountains for hiking or skiing, shooting hoops at the Rec center and going for runs with his Hungarian Vizsla dog Princess Leia.

Alison has been a group fitness instructor for more than five years and is a nationally certified personal trainer through Fit Tour. She’s worked with clients aged 13 to 75 years and says she loves “all things health and fitness.” You need to look no further than the variety of classes she’s taught- including Silver Sneakers, chair yoga, high-intensity interval training (HIIT), Barre, tone and flow mat work, body weight, water aerobics, bootcamps and more! 

Alison is passionate about working one-on-one with clients to figure out what works best for them through open communication. She loves helping people feel confident about themselves and discovering the strength within that they may not have known they had. Watching her clients achieve their health and fitness goals brings Alison great joy.
