The Town of Berthoud will hold its annual Community Clean-Up Event from April 28 through May 13, 2023. Residents of the Town can take a load of household items to the Larimer County Landfill free of charge by using a Town-issued landfill voucher. Vouchers will be available for pick up at Town Hall during regular business hours starting Monday, April 24. Every Berthoud household is eligible to receive one voucher, and residents must present an ID with their current home address or a recent utility bill to pick it up.
Town Administrator Chris Kirk says, "I know people sell, recycle, and give away what they can, but inevitably we all end up with things we can't use that are too big for regular garbage collection. We hope the community will take advantage of this event and feel good about their newly reclaimed spaces." Town Hall is open 7:00 am and 5:30 pm, Monday-Thursday.
