Anne Best Johnson Named Community Development Director

Berthoud, Colorado (March 6, 2023) –  The Town of Berthoud is proud to announce that it has hired Anne Best Johnson, AICP, to fill the role of Community Development Director. “Berthoud is a wonderful town with professional leadership and high regard for the community,” said Johnson, “I am excited to join the team and offer my experience to maintain its high standards for transparency and fair process when working with developers while also considering the concerns of those who live here.”

Johnson’s 30 years of experience range from long-range planning and land management to her most recent position in Evans, Colorado, as its Community Development Director.

Town Administrator Chris Kirk says, “As a rapidly growing community, it’s so important for the Town to have experienced professionals overseeing the Town’s processes that support and regulate growth. Anne has great experience in the private and public sectors that make her uniquely prepared to help our Town in this role, and we’re thrilled to have her as part of our team.”
