Water and Sewer Service

Residential and commercial water and sewer service in Berthoud is provided by the Town of Berthoud. Watering restrictions are in place and no irrigation is permitted between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., with the exception of hand watering, soaker hoses or drip irrigation.

Trash Collection

Trash collection is governed by Ordinance 1079 and Ordinance 1147.  You can view by clicking on the ordinance number.  You can also view information regarding trash collection in the Municipal Code, Chapter 14.7.

Effective January 1, 2008, all licensed trash providers are required to provide curb-side recycling for in-town residents. The recycling bins that were previously located across the street from Subway have been moved to the Larimer County Transfer Station. Residents have access to the Larimer County Transfer Station for recycling and to dump other trash. There is no charge for recycling, but there is a charge to dump other trash.

The Transfer Station is located next to the Gun Club on County Road 1, and is open Wednesday and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and can be reached at 970-498-5770.

Computers and electronics may be recycled for a small fee at the following locations:
