School is out and summer is here. Join Berthoud's Youth Advisory Commission for their annual ScorchFest.
The Berthoud Youth Advisory Commission proudly announces the much-anticipated return of ScorchFest, the ultimate end-of-school-year celebration. This event is set to ignite the summer season on June 9th and 10th, from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm, at Waggener Farm Park. With an exciting lineup of activities and attractions, ScorchFest promises to be an unforgettable experience for families throughout the community.
ScorchFest will feature two sections, each offering a unique and family-friendly experience for attendees of all ages. The first section, available with a $10 wristband, will host a variety of attractions, including bungee activities, human hamster balls, and adult-sized inflatables. There will also be a section dedicated to the five and younger crowd with bounce houses and an obstacle course.
The second section will offer carnival-style games for those seeking a more laid-back yet entertaining atmosphere. Guests can test their skills and luck for just $1 per play, with the chance to win prizes.
Due to popular demand, DJ Kevin returns for a second year and will set the stage for attendees to groove to their favorite tunes and showcase their dance moves.
No celebration is complete without delicious food, and ScorchFest has you covered. In addition to a pizza food truck and coffee bar, The Lions Club will be on-site, offering hotdogs and hamburgers, and “B” Sweet Cupcakes will be there with their artisanal cupcakes.
Zoe Taylor, member of the Berthoud Youth Advisory Commission and advocate for community events geared towards the town's younger members, expressed excitement for ScorchFest, stating, "ScorchFest is a fun opportunity to celebrate the end of the school year with friends and family, creating lasting memories and fostering a sense of togetherness. I can't wait to see everyone there!"
ScorchFest is made possible by the dedicated efforts of the Berthoud Youth Advisory Commission, a group of enthusiastic local high school students committed to organizing outstanding events for the community. Waggener Farm Park is located in Berthoud at 1000 Berthoud Parkway.
