Tree Board

The Town of Berthoud Tree Board was formed in 1980 to study, investigate, counsel and develop and/or update annually a written plan for the care, preservation, trimming, planting, re-planting, removal or disposition of trees and shrubs in public way streets and alleys.
The Tree Board actively participates in the annual Arbor Day Celebration for the Town of Berthoud, and has been instrumental in the Town of Berthoud being named a Tree City USA by the National Arbor Day Foundation annually since 1983.
The Board consists of six members, a Board liaison and one staff representative, as follows:

The staff representative for the Tree Board is Shiloh Hatcher, who has served as the Arborist for the Town for the past seven years.
The Board liaison for the Tree Board is Mayor Tom Patterson.
The Tree Board meets the monthly on the 3rd Monday of the Month in the Board Room at Town Hall.
