Town of Berthoud Sales Tax
Anyone selling tangible goods in the Town Limits of Berthoud must have a Berthoud Sales Tax License.
Sales Tax Licenses may be obtained by mail or in person. Sales Tax Licenses are good for the life of the business unless there is a change in ownership. In the event of a change in ownership, a new license must be obtained.
Cost for a Sales Tax License is $10.00, cash, check or money order.
The current Sales Tax Rate for Berthoud is 6.7%, which is broken down as follows:
- 3% Town of Berthoud
- 2.9% State of Colorado
- .80% Larimer County
All Sales Tax collected is submitted to the State and will be rebated to the Town.
