Construction Notice - Town of Berthoud Roundabout at 1st Street & SH 56
Date Work Began: September 21, 2009
Phase I:
Construction (3 weeks) - Removal of trees, construct the storm drain across 2nd Street and proceed easterly along Mountain Avenue.
Traffic - Temporary lane closures during construction working hours 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Full closure of 2nd Street at Mountain Avenue.
Phase II:
Construction (14 weeks) - Complete underground work and build all work north of Mountain Avenue.
Traffic - North and South bound traffic on 1st Street (US 287) will be detoured on 2nd Street at Bunyan Avenue. East and West bound traffic will be maintained on Mountain Avenue.
Phase III:
Construction (8 weeks) - Complete the south side of the roundabout and pave the final lift of asphalt.
Traffic - The traffic would use the north portion of the roundabout while there will be lane closures at times.
ALL SCHEDULES ARE WEATHER PERMITTING.
