Parks and Open Space Committee
The Town of Berthoud Parks & Open Space Committee was formed in 1995 to advise and counsel the Parks and Recreation Department, the Town Board and the Planning Commission on such matters as areas that should be preserved as open space, the establishment of bikeways and trail systems, identifying new areas for parks, the maintenance and upgrading of our existing parks and reviewing development proposals with regards to parks and open space issues.
The Board consists of six members, a Board liaison and one staff representative, as follows:

The staff representative for the Tree Board is Parks and Recreation Director Jeremy Olinger.
The Board liaison for the Parks and Open Space Board is Mayor Pro-Tem David Gregg.
The Parks and Open Space Board meets monthly on the 2nd Wednesday of the Month.
