History
The cemetery was originally purchased by three of the early settlers of the Town, Davis Baxter, Lewis Cross and John Kerr. When the lots were put up for sale, the price was $10.00 for a block of ten burial sites. The first burial was that of Mrs. Calvin (Ida) Cross, who died on January 19, 1884. The Town of Berthoud assumed ownership of the Cemetery in June, 1905.
