Tree Board

Current Agenda

The Town of Berthoud Tree Board was formed in 1980 to study, investigate, counsel and develop and/or update annually a written plan for the care, preservation, trimming, planting, re-planting, removal or disposition of trees and shrubs in public way streets and alleys.

The Tree Board actively participates in the annual Arbor Day Celebration for the Town of Berthoud, and has been instrumental in the Town of Berthoud being named a Tree City USA by the National Arbor Day Foundation annually since 1983.

The Board consists of seven members, a Board liaison and one staff representative, as follows:

The staff representative for the Tree Board is Jeremy Olinger, Parks and Recreation Department.

The Board liaison for the Tree Board is Mayor Tom Patterson.

The Tree Board meets the monthly on the 3rd Monday of the Month in the Board Room at Town Hall.

Mountain Avenue Phase 3 Construction Update

Construction on Mountain Avenue will continue west between 6th and 8th Streets for roadwork reconstruction.

Due to the existing condition of the roadway, there will be a two block closure until the street is rebuilt with a road base section.  Local business and pedestrian access will be maintained as much as possible during the closure.

Pavement installation is scheduled for the week of August 30th.
