Planning & Zoning Commission

Current Agenda

The Town of Berthoud Planning and Zoning Commission was established in 1966 and is responsible for making and adopting comprehensive master plans including land use plans, transportation plans, parks and open space plans and other related documents for the municipality. In addition, the Planning and Zoning Commission reviews all proposed development projects pertaining to planning, zoning, platting and subdividing property and makes recommendations to the Town Board of Trustees.

The Planning and Zoning Commission consists of seven members, one rural representative, and three Board liaisons as follows.

Mountain Avenue Phase 3 Construction Update

Construction on Mountain Avenue will continue west between 6th and 8th Streets for roadwork reconstruction.

Due to the existing condition of the roadway, there will be a two block closure until the street is rebuilt with a road base section.  Local business and pedestrian access will be maintained as much as possible during the closure.

Pavement installation is scheduled for the week of August 30th.
