Parks and Open Space Board

Current Agenda

The Town of Berthoud Parks & Open Space Board was formed in 1995 to advise and provide recommendations to the Parks and Recreation Department, the Town Board and the Planning Commission on such matters as areas that should be preserved as open space, the establishment of bikeways and trail systems, identifying new areas for parks, the maintenance and upgrading of our existing parks and reviewing development proposals with regards to parks and open space issues.

The Board consists of eight members, a Board liaison and one staff representative, as follows:

The Parks and Open Space Board meets monthly on the 2nd Wednesday of the Month.

Mountain Avenue Phase 3 Construction Update

Construction on Mountain Avenue will continue west between 6th and 8th Streets for roadwork reconstruction.

Due to the existing condition of the roadway, there will be a two block closure until the street is rebuilt with a road base section.  Local business and pedestrian access will be maintained as much as possible during the closure.

Pavement installation is scheduled for the week of August 30th.
