Berthoud Area Transportation Service
Berthoud Area Transportation Service (BATS) is a demand-response transportation service operated by the Town of Berthoud. By that, we mean that if you call 532-3049 with at least 24 hours notice, you can schedule a trip for the next day. We will arrange to pick you up at a designated time and drop you off at the address you request. Once you are finished with your appointment, we will pick you up and return you to your home. We work to coordinate trips for people who are going in the same general direction. This is not a taxi service, but it is a personable and reliable service.
We provide service to residents who live in Berthoud or within the Berthoud Fire Protection District and will transport people within the Town of Berthoud, or to Loveland or Longmont. We do not have a fixed route system, but work to accommodate the needs of our passengers.
Hours of Operation
BATS operates Monday through Friday, with our first pick-up at 7:00 a.m. and our last passenger drop-off at 5:00 p.m.
We do not offer service on most recognized holidays. Please call if you have questions about holiday service. Also, we reserve the right to cancel service in inclement weather.
