Workforce/Education
Workforce Berthoud has a highly educated workforce. Workers customarily commute to their jobs due to good highway access.
The workforce area for the town covers Larimer, Weld and Boulder Counties. Several higher education institutions are embedded throughout the area. The population centers of Berthoud, Loveland, Longmont, Boulder and Fort Collins provide a well-educated workforce to the business community.
Education K-12Thompson School District R2J Berthoud is accessible to three universities and two community colleges:
- Colorado University (CU) in Boulder is 41 minutes to the south.
- Colorado State University (CSU) is 32 minutes to the north in Ft. Collins.
- The University of Northern Colorado (UNC) is 33 minutes to the east in Greeley.
- Front Range Community College located in Fort Collins and Longmont.
- Aims Community College with locations in Loveland and Greeley.
Aims will develop training curriculum for primary employers.
